Brian Ray Moon, 28, of 15 Butler Farm Road, died Monday, May 9, 1994, in Virginia Beach. 

Mr. Moon was a native of Galesburg, Ill., and was a former resident of Franklin. Mr. Moon was the assistant manager of OfficeMax in Virginia Beach and was a Methodist. 

Survivors include his wife, Paula Ullom Moon; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Moon; and one stepson, Aaron Joseph Moon, all of the residence. He is also survived by his parents, Paul Ray and Karen Sandburg Moon of Franklin; one sister, Lori M. Mulkey of Poquoson; and one brother, Michael C. Moon of Franklin; a maternal grandmother, Mildred Young of Galesburg, Ill.; paternal grandparents, John L. and Neva Beatrice Moon of Macomb, Ill. 

A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Poplar Spring Cemetery in Franklin by the Rev. David Erickson. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and at other times at the home of Mr. Moon's parents at 129 D. Forest Pine Road in Franklin, Va.
