Dallas Edward Minton Jr., of the 2100 block of Joyners Bridge Road, died Aug. 5, 1993. 

Mr. Minton was born in Suffolk and was a pulp mill foreman with Union Camp Corp. He was a Baptist. 

Survivors include his wife, Susan G. Minton; one daughter, Rena Elizabeth Minton of Carrsville; his mother, Annie Bazemore Minton, one sister, Dianne Minton Joyner and one brother, Asa Gregory Minton, all of Suffolk; his mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goodrich of Carrsville. 

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Holland-Rideout Funeral Home, Franklin. Burial will be in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery, Franklin. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. 

Memorial donations may be made to Franklin Rescue Squad or Windsor Rescue Squad.
