She was born in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late John W. and Agnes Stainback Foster. She was the widow of the late A.G. ``Buddy'' Miller, former golf professional at Chockoyotte Country Club, Roanoke Rapids and Cypress Cove Country Club, Franklin. Mrs. Miller was a longtime employee of Brady's Jewel Box and was a very active member of the Southampton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a dedicated Pink Lady. Survivors include a daughter, Judith M. Vaughan of Weldon, N.C.; a son, A.G. Miller Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; two sisters, Virginia Watts of Richmond and Dora Gibbs of Holly Springs, N.C.; three grandchildren, Michael Vaughan, Donna Brennan and Traci Storey; and three great-grandchildren, Frankie and Amanda Brennan and Eric Vaughan. A graveside funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends at the residence, 416 Old Sedley Road, Franklin.
