Mabel L. McMillion, 79, of the 5800 block of Bertrand St., died Aug. 18, 1992, in a hospital. 

Mrs. McMillion was born in Renick, W.Va. She was the widow of Palmer C. McMillion. 

Survivors include three daughters, Virginia Armstrong of Franklin, Gladys Clifton of Miami and Mary Luther of Portsmouth; three sons, Robert L. McMillion of Bristow, Va., Gilbert McMillion of Fredericksburg, Va., and Luther McMillion of Dinwiddie, Va.; a sister, Grace Blankinship, and two brothers, Forrest Hanna and Merrell Hanna, all of Bowling Green, Va.; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Joseph Tarkington. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park , Franklin. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
