FRANKLIN - Emma Simpson McGhee, 78, a native of Durrants Neck, N.C., died Tuesday, Nov. 26. 
Mrs. McGhee was a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church. 
Survived by two sons, R. Gilliam McGhee of Franklin and E. Russell McGhee of Hampton; two brothers, Robert C. Holland of Edenton, N.C., and Lemuel Holland of Portsmouth; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 
Visitation from 7:30 to 8:30 tonight in Wright Funeral Home. Funeral service at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the church by the Rev. Samuel Askew. Burial in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Memorials to the Congregational Christian Church Building Fund.
