ANNETTE MARIE McDERMOTT Charlotte Observer, The (NC) - June 2, 1994 Dr. Annette Marie McDermott, 38, of Waynesboro, Va., formerly of Charlotte, died June 1, 1994, at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Va. Memorial service is 7 tonight at McDow Funeral Home, Waynesboro. Memorial mass is Saturday at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, Dushore, Pa. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is following tonight's service. Dr. McDermott, a Philadelphia native, served her residency in internal medicine at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, served a general medicine fellowship from 1986 to 1987 and began private practice in 1987. She also was medical director of Skyline Rehabilitation Management Inc. She was a 1979 magna cum laude graduate of Bryn Mawr (Pa.) College and earned her M.D. at the medical school of State University of New York at Buffalo. Survivors are her parents, Phillip and Marie McDermott; brother, Shaun McDermott of Pittsburgh; sisters, Ms. Kathy McDermott of New York, Mrs. Rachael McWilliams of Charlottesville, Mrs. Ilene Taylor; grandmother, Ms. Mary McDermott of Waverly, N.Y.; nephew, Sam Zarn of New York; niece, Ms. Adonica McDermott of Pittsburgh; companion, Ms. Frances Mahanes of Waynesboro.
