Obituary of WILLIE CONWAY McCLENNY The Virginian Pilot Willie Conway "Buddy" McClenny, 62, of the 500 block of Honaker Ave., died July 29, 1995, at home with his family and friends by his side. He was a member of former Foxhill Baptist Church. He was born in Franklin, Va., and was the son of the late Letcher and Antoinette Cotton McClenny. Buddy retired from Asphalt Roads and Materials of Virginia Beach after 32 years of dedicated service. A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife, Earlene S. McClenny; four children, Kim Wilkey and husband David of Chesapeake, Jodi Terry and husband Dean of Redfield, SD, Kathy Kallam of Las Vegas and Greg Kallam of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Mildred M. Johnston of Sunbury, N.C., and Marjorie M. Curtis of Virginia Beach; one brother Gordon "Shot" McClenny of Virginia Beach; and six grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park with the Rev. Hugh Mizelle officiating. Friends may call at Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall/Kempsville Chapel, this evening from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Hope Haven Adult Home, 3000 N.
