Richard Wade ``Ricky'' McMurtrey, 53, of Holland, died Aug. 2, 2001. Ricky was born in Danville, Va., and was a 1967 graduate of Forest Glen High School. He was a member of Holland Baptist Church and a former sawyer in the Saw Mill Division of International Paper Co. 
   Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Brenda Cherry McMurtrey; a daughter, Tracy Leigh McMurtrey and her husband, Jason Parker, of Portsmouth; his mother, Thelma Oakes McMurtrey of Holland; two sisters, Sandra McMurtrey and her husband, George Goetzke, of Arlington, Va., and Patsy M. DeLucia of Zuni, Va.; and a nephew, Andy DeLucia of Zuni. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph Willis McMurtrey. 
   A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today in Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. Clyde Alderman officiating. Memorials may be made to the Virginia Wildlife Federation, 1001 E. Broad St., Suite LL5, Richmond, VA 23219. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge.
