Emma Everett Mayo, 52, a retired floor lady, died March 28, 1992, in an Emporia hospital. 

Mrs. Mayo was born in Lowland, N.C. She retired from the packing department at Planters peanut company. 

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie M. Crocker of Ivor and Donna M. Smith of Emporia; a son, Al Mayo Jr. of Windsor; two sisters, Louise Spruill of Plymouth, N.C., and Edith E. Adams of Greenville, N.C.; a brother, Ernest J. Everett of Windsor; and two grandchildren. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Windsor Cemetery by the Rev. Edwin Staigee. Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at 8495 Cut Thru Road.

Mrs. Mayo was born in Lowland, N.C. She retired from the packing department at Planters Peanut Company.
