Robert ``Bobby'' Lee Madron III, 58, of the 200 block of Country Club Road died June 12, 1997, at his residence. 

Mr. Madron was a native of Southampton County and was the son of Eunice Joyner Madron and the late Robert Lee Madron Jr. He was a retired inspector with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and was a member of the Hunterdale United Church of Christ. 

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Janice Babb Madron; a son, Robert Lee ``Robbie'' Madron IV; and a granddaughter, Lori Kaye Madron, all of Franklin. 

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Hunterdale United Church of Christ by the Rev. Dr. Alan R.W. Campbell and the Rev. James Smith. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery , Courtland . The family will receive friends at the residence and suggests that memorials be made in honor of Bobby Lee Madron, E.N.T. Head and Neck Surgery, Box 430, UVA HSC, Charlottesville, Va. 22908, attn.: Dr. Robert Cantrell. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
