W. Edgar Lowe, 84, a resident of Seacock Chapel Road in Ivor, died on Monday, June 13, 1994, at Southampton Memorial Hospital in Franklin. 

Mr. Lowe was a native of Southampton County and was the son of the late Harry C. and Raynor Raiford Lowe. He was a lifelong member of Corinth Friends Meeting, Ivor. He retired in 1975, after 25 years, from Franklin Equipment Co. 

He is survived by his wife, Mabel Raiford Lowe; a daughter, Jane L. Smith of Windsor; and a granddaughter, Niki Lee of Franklin. 

Funeral services will be held at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, on Wednesday, June 15, 1994, at 11 a.m. by David K. Hobson, Pastor. Burial will be in the Ivor Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times at their homeplace, 32102 Seacock Chapel Road, Ivor. Memorial donations may be made to the Corinth Friends Meeting Memorial Fund, 13494 Corinth Road, Ivor, Va. 23866.
