Brenda Keech Lassiter, 51, of the 1400 block of Redwood Court, Suffolk, a secretary, died Feb. 13, 1993, in Obici Hospital. 

Mrs. Lassiter was born in Norfolk and was formerly of Franklin. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Donald and Grace Modlin Keech. She was employed with the Redevelopment and Housing Authority and was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Claude E. Lassiter; two daughters, Dana C. and Donna Ann Lassiter of the home; two sons, Kevin R. Lassiter and Keith R. Lassiter, both of Suffolk; a daughter-in-law, Suzzie E. Lassiter of Boston, Mass.; a sister, Betty Keech Rogers of Greenville, S.C.; and a brother, Ralph Donald Keech Jr. of Willow Springs, Mo. 

The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Wright Funeral -Home, Franklin, by Dr. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park . Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad.
