Obituary of Cleo Hall Lankford CLEO HALL LANKFORD Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, September 5, 2004 Cleo Hall Lankford, 89, widow of James Edward Lankford, died Sept. 4, 2004. A native of Isle of Wight County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Tom and Addie Leigh Saunders Hall. She was a retired buyer for Leggetts Department Store with 20 years service and a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lankford was predeceased by two sisters, Nellie Mae Griffin and Dahlia Hall Bradshaw, and two brothers, Cleveland Hall Sr. and Clyde Hall. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and suggest in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Colosse Baptist Church, 6361 Rhodes Road, Windsor, VA 23487.
