Grace Hensley Lambert, 89, died Aug. 20, 1998, at Courtland Healthcare Center. Mrs. Lambert was born Aug. 2, 1909, in Asheville, N.C., a daughter of the late James and Laura Hensley. She was the widow of John C. Lambert. 

Grace is survived by her son, David Lambert and his wife, Sylvia, of Franklin; three grandchildren, Dewayne Lambert and his wife, Debra, Gregory Lambert, Ginger Presson and her husband, Blake; seven great-grandchildren, Joshua, Brittany, Danielle, Jacob, Matthew, Amber and Rebecca. 

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Lafayette Wilkins officiating. Burial will be private at Poplar Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Courtland Healthcare Center.
