George Thomas Kitchen Sr., 72, of Sycamore Church Road, a retired co-owner and operator of Kitchen's Farm Repair Service, died May 8, 1992, in his home.  

Mr. Kitchen was born in Courtland and was a member of Courtland Baptist Church.  

Survivors include his wife, Ferne Turner Kitchen; a daughter, Jeanie K. Darden of Franklin; a son, George Kitchen Jr. of Courtland; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Powell and the Rev. Reginald Warren. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.  

Memorial donations may be made to Courtland Rescue Squad or Franklin Fire & Rescue Squad.
