 Pauline Fuller Kirkland, 96, died Oct. 19, 1992, in a Franklin hospital. 
Mrs. Kirkland was born in Southampton County. She was the widow of Robert E. Kirkland Sr. She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church. 
Survivors include a daughter, Katherine K. Futrell of Courtland; three sons, Ollie W. Kirkland and William R. Kirkland, both of Boykins, and John C. Kirkland of Newport News; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Beechwood Cemetery by the Rev. Phil Motley and the Rev. Jim Browder. Friends may join the family at the home of Ollie W. Kirkland. McDowell Funeral Home is handling arrangements. 
Memorial donations may be made to the church.
