Mrs. Keeter was a native of Isle of Wight Co. and was the daughter of the late Claude and Mary Alice Cox Holland. She was the widow of Charles O. Keeter. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church and its Golden Age Club. Survivors include two daughters, Myrtle K. Goodman of Suffolk and Cynthia K. Garris of Windsor; two sons, Carroll D. Keeter of San Antonio, Texas, and Charles O. Keeter, Jr. of Sedley; one sister, Mason Simmons of Walters; a brother, Guy C. Holland of Suffolk; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by Rev. Robert Bennett and Rev. Gary Kumm. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park , Franklin.
