Obituary of SARAH A. KEA Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 20, 1996 Sarah Atkins Kea, 95, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 1996. She was the widow of Silas S. Kea Sr. Born in Southampton County, Mrs. Kea was daughter of the late Edward David and Pricilla Felts Atkins. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living member of Ivor Baptist Church and the Woman's Missionary Society. She was the first woman member on the Ivor Town Council, serving for eight years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ivor Rescue Squad, the Southampton Historical Society and past president of the Ivor Woman's Club. Survivors include a son, E. Peyton Kea, and his wife, Billie, of Ivor; three grandchildren, Edward P. (Buddy) Kea Jr. and wife, Lynne, and Paul S. Kea and wife, Karen, of Ivor, and Kathy Kea Aiken and husband, Harrison Aiken Jr. of St. Simons, Ga.; and five great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Silas S.
