Mrs. Joyner was a native of Nansemond County and the widow of William Clifton Joyner. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church, the Staley Circle and the Ladies Star Sunday School Class. She was a member of the King's Fork Woman's Club. Mrs. Joyner is survived by two nieces, Nannie W. Daniel and Ann W. Piland, both of Suffolk; three nephews, Hunter H. Williams of Richmond, Landon Williams and Wilbur A. Wright, both of Suffolk; 10 great-nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in R.W. Baker & Co.
