Mrs. Joyner was born in Southampton County. She retired from Roses department stores and was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ and Hunterdale Senior Citizens. She was the widow of William Joyner. Survivors include two sons, James W. Joyner and Sherman L. Joyner, a stepmother, Thelma W. Blythe, and a sister, Jackie Vinson, all of Franklin; a brother, Fenton Blythe of Rocky Mount, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. James X. Camak and the Rev. Howard L. Vinson. Friends may join the family at 22203 Sedley Road.
