Ellis Lee Joyner, 67, of the 500 block of Laurel St., died July 19, 1991, in a Norfolk hospital. 

Mr. Joyner was born in Southampton County. He had retired from the roll finishing department of Union Camp Corp. after 40 years and was a driver for Casey Chevrolet. He was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church and Cypress Cove Country Club. 

Survivors include his wife, Jean Turner Joyner; three daughters, Joyce J. Gerald, Deloris J. Joyner and Debbie J. Bailey; a son, Micheal L. Joyner; a sister, Billie J. Wood; and a brother, George S. Joyner, all of Franklin; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. Dennis R. Tedder. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home. 

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to a favorite charity.
