Margaret Bynum Bryant Jones, 86, died Jan. 26, 1992, in a nursing home. 

Mrs. Jones was born in Franklin and had retired from Dr. W. Irving Knight's office. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church. She attended St. Mary's College in Raleigh, N.C. 

Survivors include a granddaughter, Martha R. Jones of Chesapeake. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Ben R. Duffey. Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 233 Mann Drive, Chesapeake, Va. 23320.
