Mary Elizabeth Johnson, 66, of Railroad Street, died May 15, 1991, in a Franklin hospital. 

Mrs. Johnson, a native of North Carolina, was the widow of Joseph Albert Johnson. She was a member of Elam Baptist Church. 

Survivors include three daughters, Linda M. Parker of Murfreesboro, N.C., and Kathy M. Darden and Judith C. Darden, both of Newsoms ; three sons, Earl B. Miles of Newsoms , Thomas Miles of Rich Square, N.C., and Curtis A. Miles of Boykins; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. 

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in McDowell Funeral Home by the Rev. Kenneth Williams and the Rev. Randy Wooden. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery .
