JOHNSON Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - March 2, 1998 Armorel Fowler Bradshaw Johnson, 80, died Feb. 28, 1998, in the East Pavilion of Southampton Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Southampton County and a daughter of the late Willie R. and Ella Cutchins Fowler. The widow of Walter T. Johnson, she was predeceased by her first husband, William M. Bradshaw Jr. She was a charter member of the Franklin Woman's Club and the Forks of the River Home Demonstration Club. A member of Franklin Baptist Church, she had been active in the Women's Missionary Union. She was a Pink Lady at Southampton Memorial Hospital and a volunteer in the Hospital Auxiliary. She was an avid bridge player. She is survived by three daughters, Brenda B. Daughtrey and husband, Edwin, and Millie B. Bradshaw of Franklin, and Cherry B. Brown and husband, Clem, of Williamsburg; a sister, Anna F. Butler of Albany, Ga.; a brother, Randolph Fowler of Franklin; six grandchildren, Cathy and Brad Goodman of Oceanside, N.Y., Lisa and Troy Brinkley of Norfolk, Angela and Jorge Ruiz of Nogales, Ariz., Larry W. Jr. and Kristin Brown of Winston-Salem, N.C., Clement Brown IV and Brandon Brown, both of Williamsburg; three great-grandchildren, Lauren and Jena Goodman and Alexander Brinkley. She was predeceased by a brother, James Fowler. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Franklin Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Roy DeBrand and the Rev. Dr. Ira Hudgins. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home at 7 p.m. today and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church, 208 N.
