Obituary of FRANCIS ALBERT HUGHSON Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, November 27, 1991 Francis Albert Hughson, 72, of the 500 block of Fairview Drive, a retired mechanical engineer, died Nov. 25, 1991, in a Suffolk hospital. Mr. Hughson was born in Geneva, N.Y. He had retired from General Motors Inc. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of High Street United Methodist Church and the Masonic lodge in Canandaigua, N.Y. Survivors include his wife, Alice Sommers Hughson; three daughters, Pat H. Fisher of Abaco Island, Bahamas, Judy H. Mize of Birmingham, Ala., and Alice H. Cullins of Medford Lakes, N.J.; two sons, Jim F. Hughson of Baltimore and Fran A. Hughson Jr. of Hampton; three sisters, Hazel H. Schaeffer of Canandaigua, Jeanne H. Overacre of Little Rock, Ark., and Elaine H. Cornbau of Overland Park, Kan.; two brothers, Douglas Hughson and Gary Hughson, both of Canandaigua; and 18 grand-children. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in High Street United Methodist Church by the Rev. John A. Siegle and the Rev. Carl Desouza. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park . A prayer service will be at 5 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home, where friends may visit the family afterward. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Asso-ciation.
