SUFFOLK - Dorothy W. Howell died Sept. 29, 2004. Born in Suffolk, she
was the daughter of the late William and Helen Matthews Wilkins and
widow of Evans D. Howell. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Sperling of Asheville, N.C.;
grandson, Aaron Sperling; sisters, Margaret Poarch and husband N.T.,
Elsie Hayes, Louise Benton, Ann Wheeler and Audrey Robertson, all of
Suffolk.

Graveside services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in Cypress Chapel
Christian Church Cemetery by Dr. Thurman Hayes and the Rev. Robbin
Mundy. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the
family.
