Obituary of Teresa Johnson Holland TERESA JOHNSON HOLLAND Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, February 14, 1997 Teresa Johnson Holland, 45, of the 28100 block of Handsom Road, died Feb. 12, 1997, at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital. Mrs. Holland was a lifelong resident of Handsom and was the daughter of the late Burtenelle ``Boots'' and Jessie Field Johnson. She was a 1970 graduate of Southampton High School and graduated from the Johnston-Willis School of Nursing in 1972. A registered nurse, she worked with the Southampton County Health Department for 14 years and was most recently employed as a nurse with House Calls at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Holland was a member of the Board of Directors of Southampton Academy and Southampton County Social Services and a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Emporia. She is survived by her husband, James ``Jimmy'' Emerson Holland Jr.; two daughters, Jennifer Niccole Holland and Kaitlynn DeAnne Holland, all of Franklin; sister, Angelyn Johnson Mitchell of Emporia; nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Larry Grizzard. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
