Mr. Holland was a native of Southampton. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mount Horeb United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Lewis H. Holland of Courtland; one sister, Carrye Lee Seay of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service was conducted Saturday in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Thomas G. Lee. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Mount Horeb United Methodist Church.
