Obituary of Henry Reece Hatfield HENRY REECE HATFIELD Virginian Pilot - 10-20-2004 SUFFOLK - Henry Reece Hatfield, 65, died Oct. 18, 2004. A native of Meador, W.Va., he was the son of the late Dolly K. and Lawrence Hatfield and a member of Liberty Spring Christian Church, where he was deacon, and Liberty Spring Ruritan Club. For 21 years he served as deputy sheriff for the City of Suffolk. He then went on to retire as transportation supervisor for Western Tidewater Regional Jail. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lois Lowe Hatfield of Suffolk; a daughter, Erin L. Hatfield of Cary, N.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas A. and Amy T. Hatfield of Suffolk; grandchildren, Taylor M. and Connor D. Hatfield; a sister, Theresa H. Sipple of Ruther Glen, Va.; a brother, Dale Hatfield of Hamilton, Ohio, and Ronald Hatfield of Suffolk; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Liberty Spring Christian Church with the Rev. Dolan A. Talbert officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Spring Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
