Roberta Stevenson "Bertie" Harrell , 49, of the 8400 block of Southwestern Blvd., died June 3, 1994, in Obici Memorial Hospital. 
Mrs. Harrell was born in Franklin and was a member of Holy Neck United Church of Christ. She was formerly the district administrator for the Western Tidewater Health District. 
Survivors include her husband, W. Dan Harrell ; two daughters, Tara S . McCaw and Wanda S . Goodman, both of Suffolk; two stepdaughters, Brandy L. Harrell and Jaime L. Harrell , both of Carrsville; and two granddaughters, Morgan E. McCaw and Skylar T. Goodman, both of Suffolk. She was predeceased by a son, Quinton V. Smith. 
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. E. Cecil Smith. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home and other times at the residence.
