   SUFFOLK - Irene Blanchard Harrell, 96, died September 26, 2000 in Courtland Healthcare Center.
   She was (a native of) Hobbsville, N.C., she was daughter of the late Martin and Elsie Mae Hoffler Blanchard and the widow of Phillip Dempsey Harrell. She was retired from United Dollar Store and was a member of Suffolk Congregational Christian Church.
   Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis H. Bradshaw and her husband, David Lee, of Sedley and a granddaughter, Stephenie Brantley and her husband, Matthew of Sedley. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer L. Bradshaw.
   A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Holly Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Eason officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of David and Phyllis Bradshaw, 31190 Vicksville Road, Sedley and suggests that memorials be made to the Franklin Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 937, Franklin, Va. 23851. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin is in charge of arrangements.

   SUFFOLK - Irene Blanchard Harrell, 96, died 26 September 2000 in Courtland Healthcare Center.
