Ethel Bunch Harrell, 94, of the 4400 block of Carolina Road, died Nov. 5, 2000, at Chesapeake General Hospital. 
A native of Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Bunch and Ophelia Williams Bunch and was predeceased by a son, James Frank Harrell. She was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church and Nettie Harrell Bible Class. 
The widow of Frank Eugene Harrell, she is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Harrell and Robert E. Stigall of Charlotte, N.C., and Peggy Harrell and Bobby C. Powell of Chesapeake; sons and daughters-in-law, C. Eugene and Jean H. Harrell of Gloucester Point, Va., and Oscar B. and Elva W. Harrell of Williamsburg; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise B. Parker of Virginia Beach; and brothers, Raymond Bunch of Lynchburg and William Bunch of Florida. 
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cypress Chapel Christian Church by the Rev. John Kimball. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Hill Funeral Home. 
Contributions may be made to Cypress Chapel Christian Church New Building Fund, 1891 Cypress Chapel Road, Norfolk, VA 23434.
