   VIRGINIA BEACH - E. Martin Harrell, 85, of the 1600 block of Ferebee Drive, died April 6 in his residence.
   Born in Southampton County, he was founder and owner of E. Martin Harrell Co., Inc., Food Brokerage. He was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. He was a past commodore of Norfolk Yacht and Country Club and a charter member of the Tidewater Food Dealers Association.
   Survivors include his wife, Virginia H. Harrell; a daughter, Emmy Lou Spry of Virginia Beach; a son John M. Harrell and his wife, Linda Harrell, of Norfolk; four grandchildren. Kelly Spry, Marty Spry, Amy Harrell and Austin Harrell; and a sister-in-law, Georgie L. Harris of Virginia Beach.
   A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., April 9 in Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by Dr. Paul Bailey. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. The family will receive at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
