Obituary of William Ray Hargrave WILLIAM RAY HARGRAVE William Ray Hargrave, 53, of 115 Madison Ave. Suffolk, Va., died May 16, 1997, He was a native of Southampton County, and the son of the late Alice Bell Dunlough and Sherman Hargrave. He was a former meat cutter for Be-Lo in Suffolk. Survivors include son, Jeffery Ray Hill; two sisters, Joyce Jones and Irene Truitt; two brothers, Clyde Hargrave and James Hargrave, all of Suffolk. Mr. Hargrave was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers. A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by William Ashley Ellis with burial in Blackcreek Baptist Church Cemetery.
