Born in Boykins Oct. 2, 1913, she was the daughter of Ethel Hart and Benjamin Franklin Britt and the widow of Logan Corbin Harding. Mrs. Harding lived at Westminister-Canterbury in Richmond. She graduated from Longwood College and taught for more than 30 years in Virginia Beach, Suffolk and Hopewell public schools. She also worked for American Red Cross in Florida. Mrs. Harding is survived by her cousins, Lucy Baker and husband, Roland, Nancy Knight Klotz, Candace Klotz Little and Charles D. Klotz of Capron; niece, Audrey Harding Burbank of Richmond; great-nephews, John Logan Harding of Richmond and William Emerson Harding of Tupelo, Miss.; great-niece, Alice Harding Thomas of Virginia Beach; numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren. She was an active member of St. Johns Episcopal Church of Hopewell, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., April 1. The family will receive friends and guests at 10:15 a.m. in the Ribble Parish Hall before the service. A graveside service will be held at the United Methodist Church in Wicomico Church.
