   SUFFOLK - Ethel Wright Harcum, 85, died July 8, 2003. A native of Gates county, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Berta M.L. Wright. She retired after 33 years as a bookkeeper for the Dutch Market and was a member of Holy Neck United Church of Christ where she attended Ladies Bible class. The widow of James Abram Harcum, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jerry A. and Judy Harcum of Suffolk; grandchildren, Julie H. Masters, Kristin B. Branchaud, Ryan C. Chavis, Justin A. Chavis, Jason T. Chavis and Shae E. Masters; and a brother, Alton Wright, all of Suffolk. A funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home by the Rev. Dolan Talbert. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery. Friends may join the family other times at the residence of Jerry and Judy Harcum at 8504 Southwestern Blvd. Suffolk. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439.
