Willie Frances Hale, 86, died Dec. 22, 2002, in the East Pavilion. Mrs. Hale was the widow of J.N. Hale and was predeceased by a son, Norman Hale. She was a homemaker and a member of Courtland United Methodist Church. 
A funeral will be at 8 p.m. today in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Kay Gentry officiating. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Courtland United Methodist Church, 22416 Main St., Courtland, VA 23837.
