Mrs. Gyoker was the widow of Joseph Paul Gyoker and was retired from Hancock Peanut Co. She was a lifelong member of Courtland Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy G. Dottie Cummings and her husband, E.O. of Suffolk, Shirley G. Lorenz and her husband, Walt, of Philadelphia; a son, J.P. Buster Gyoker, Jr. of Toms Brook, Va.; four sisters, Annie Baugham of Boykins, Betty Sue Cox of Chesapeake, Gladys Foxwell of Hurlock, Md., and Sarah Lee McNeal of Preston, Md.; three brothers, George D. Pulley of Ahoskie, N.C., James A. Pulley of Hopewell and Robert T. Pulley of Cambridge, Md.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters and a brother, Frances Johnson, Emily Watson and Earl Pulley. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. James Dunn. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland.
