GOLDSBORO – Mrs. Dana B. Gulley, a longtime resident of Goldsboro, died April 29, 1995. A native of Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Walter Lee Beale and Fannie Matthews Beale. She was the widow of James Kerr Gulley, who died January 4, 1978. Their home was at 400 East Walnut Street.  
  Mrs. Gulley was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had been active in the American Legion Auxiliary and had served as president of the local group. She had been a member of the Goldsboro Woman’s Club and had participated in various civic activities.  
  She is survived by a daughter, Dana James Gulley Cunningham of Columbia, Missouri.  
  Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.  
  Funeral arrangements under the direction of James V. Fauld include a service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 2, at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, Va.  
  The visitation will be Monday evening, May 1, from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Dr. Paul Jeffrey Clark and the Reverend Robert L. Brame will officiate here, with the latter officiating in Virginia.
