Obituary of Robert Stephenson Gray ROBERT STEPHENSON GRAY Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - May 18, 2003 Robert Stephenson Gray, 75, died Friday, May 16, 2003 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a son of the late Junie Fleetwood and Esther Coppersmith Gray. He retired from St. Regis as supervisor after 45 years of service. Robert was a member and retired custodian of Franklin Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Pauline G. Lowe of Franklin; two brothers, Paul D. Gray of Franklin and W. Patrick Gray of Lima, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Gray was predeceased by two sisters, Nellie Gray and Sadie Gray; and five brothers, Wesley, Otis, Jasper, Norwood and Jesse Gray. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Dr. Ira D. Hudgins, the Rev. Sharon James and the Rev. Sue Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery . The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
