Mr. Gray, a native of Isle of Wight County, was a son of the late Junie Fleetwood and Esther Coppersmith Gray. He was a member of the Franklin Baptist Church. Mr. Gray is survived by a sister, Pauline Texie Lowe of Franklin; four brothers, Robert S. Gray of Franklin, Otis C. Gray and his wife, Louise, of Mechanicsville, Paul D. Gray of Chatham, Va., and Willard P. Gray and his wife, Jewell, of Lima, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Nellie Mae and Sadie Mildred Gray, and three brothers, Jesse, Jasper and Wesley Gray. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Dr. Roy DeBrand, the Rev. Sharon James and the Rev. Dr. Ira Hudgins. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home and suggests that memorials may be made to the Franklin Baptist Church, 208 N.
