William Grafton Glover, 84, of the 2100 block of Holland Road in Suffolk, a retired salesman, died Nov. 15, 1992, in Nansemond Convalescent Center. 

Mr. Glover was born in Isle of Wight County and had retired from Coastal Plains Insurance Co. He was a charter member of Liberty Baptist Church, a former trustee and a member of the Men's Bible Class. 

Survivors include his wife, Vernell Harrell Glover; three daughters, Patricia G. Wilkins, Linda G. Riggins and Sandra G. Johnson, all of Suffolk; a sister, Madie Lee Daughtry of Elizabeth City; two brothers, Patrick H. Glover and Odom S. Glover, both of Suffolk; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. 

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Liberty Baptist Church by the Rev. T.A. Powell. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park , Franklin. The family will receive friends in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, from 7 to 8 p.m. today, and other times at 1680 Holland Road. 

Memorial donations may be made to Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund, 2601 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
