CHESAPEAKE- Martha Bell "Nannie" Gayle, 91, of the 1100 block of Myrtle
Avenue passed away on September 5, 2004. A native of Smithfield, VA, she
was the daughter of the late Benjamin T. and Beuna Edwards Bell and wife
of the late Victor H. Gayle, Jr. She was a member of Oaklette United
Methodist Church. She was a wonderful and devoted mother, grandmother,
and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters; Grace Gayle Jordan and Patricia Wynne
and her husband, Werdna, all of Chesapeake; two granddaughters, Tammy
Humbert of Chesapeake and Michelle Lauzon and her husband, Don of
Virginia Beach; three grandsons, Donnie Gayle and Michael Jordan, both
of Chesapeake and Christopher Todd Wynne and his wife, Katie of Virginia
Beach; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. in
Oakland Christian Church Cemetery, Chuckatuck (Suffolk), VA with
Chaplain Bob Evans officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday
from 7-8 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, 1112 Kempsville
Road, Chesapeake. Friends may sign the guest register at
www.grahamfuneralhome.com.
