She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church, taught the Primary Sunday School Class, attended the Adult Bible Class and the Kann Women's Missionary Circle of the church. She is survived by her husband, Wilson Floyd Garris, a son, Wesley F. Garris, three daughters, Nelda G. Copeland, Emogene G. Babb, Nola G. Mumford, all of Windsor, a sister, Blanche C. Hundley, Suffolk, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield on Sunday, Oct. 30, 1994, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Ronald Wiley and theRev. Jimmy Crocker. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery . The family will receive friends at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield on Saturday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the residence.
