THOMAS ALLEN GARDNER

Thomas Allen Gardner, 84, died Jan. 25, 2002. 
Born Dec. 14, 1917, he was the son of the late Hiram J. and Verna May Hobbs Gardner and the widower of Helen W. Gardner. Mr. Gardner was a retired farmer and a member of the Windsor Baptist Church. 
Survivors include three daughters, Betty G. Duck of Herndon, Mary E. Hawkins and Nell A. Miller, both of Richmond; a son, David T. Gardner of Richmond; a sister, Lucy G. Richwine of Richmond; a brother, Charles H. Gardner of Spartanburg, S.C.; six grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad, 19 E. Windsor Blvd., Windsor, VA 23487.
