Rochelle Wilson Gardner, 79, of 14443 Five Forks Road, died May 5, 1996. 

A native of Windsor, he was a World World II Navy veteran and was a retired civil servant. 

Survivors include a sister, Lucy F. Richwine of Richmond; four brothers, Hiram J. Gardner Jr. and Frederick L. Gardner, both of Suffolk, Thomas Gardner of Windsor and Charlie H. Gardner of Spartanburg, S.C. 

The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the graveside in Windsor Cemetery . The family will receive friends in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home today from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Baptist Church Building Fund, 6 Church St., or the Windsor Rescue Squad, 19 Windsor Blvd. E., Windsor, Va. 23487.
