Grace Bradshaw "Brad" Gardner, 71, of Colosse Road, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1993, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 

Mrs. Gardner was born in Rice, Va., and was the daughter of the late R.M. Bradshaw. She was a former nurse and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence E. Gardner Jr.; two sons, Lawrence E. Gardner III of Virginia Beach and Robert M. Gardner of Carrsville; her mother, Ruth Hubbard Bradshaw; a sister, Frances B. Bruce of Farmville; one brother, General Julian Bradshaw, U.S. Army (Ret.) of Powhatan, Va.; and one granddaughter, Lisa Marie Gardner. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery by Dr. Richard Peerey. Friends may join the family at the residence. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is handling arrangements. 

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
