A native of Suffolk, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Howell and Mamie Gertrude Spence Paramore. Mrs. Garden was a longtime medical records administrator with Southampton Memorial Hospital, where she worked for 25 years. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, H. Wells Garden; one daughter, Megan Marie Parker of Virginia Beach and fianc'e Kenneth Sanders, III; one son, Tripp parker and wife Wendy of Courtland; one sister, Marie Gerrans of Kinston, N.C.; three brothers, Roger Paramore of Kinston, Joe Paramore of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Charels Paramore of Aiken, S.C.; her stepmother, Glynn Dansey of Franklin; and three grandchildren, Garrett, Patrick and Ryan Parker. A memorial service was to be conducted at 11 a.m., March 12, at the Franklin Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. A. Richard Childress officiating.
