Obituary of Richard Arlen "Dick" Gagner RICHARD ARLEN GAGNER Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, October 13, 1998 Richard Arlen ``Dick'' Gagner, 68, died Oct. 12, 1998. Born May 5, 1930, in Sheboygan, Wis., he was a son of the late Sipblian Joseph Gagner and Maude Viola Arneson Gagner. Dick was employed as a security officer for Pinkerton Co. at Wilroy Industrial Park and was retired from St. Regis Paper Co. and Sherwin Williams Paint Co. He was a National Guard veteran and a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Audrey Raiford Gagner; three daughters, Sherry G. Vann and her husband, Randy, of Newsoms, Dora G. Gurganus and her husband, Ricky, of Capron and Renee G. Jones and her husband, Ronnie, of Sedley; a son, Joe Gagner of Courtland; a sister, Joyce G. Bland of Franklin; two brothers, Jerome G. Gagner and his wife, Mildred, of Franklin and Jeremy J. Gagner and his wife, Donna, of Rice Lake, Wis.; and seven grandchildren, Carrie Lowe, Craig Vann, Anrae Gurganus, Kevin Lowe, Travis Vann, Adam Gurganus and Matthew Jones. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Fr. Carl DeSouza. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park .
