Obituary of James Richardson Fuller JAMES RICHARDSON FULLER Virginian Pilot - 12-24-2004 COURTLAND - James Richardson Fuller, 91, widower of Louise Ferguson Fuller, died Dec. 20, 2004, at the East Pavilion. Born in Southampton County, he was a son of the late Charlie William and Annie Gray Fuller. He was a retired farmer and member of Newsoms Baptist Church. He was a past member of the Newsoms Ruritan Club and Newsoms Hunt Club. Survivors include his daughter, Peggy F. Brett and husband Wayne of Halifax, N.C.; his son, Charles F. Fuller and wife Judy of Courtland; four grandchildren, Chuckie and Chris Fuller and Mike and Mark Brett; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, Justice, Trinity, Victoria and Chance Fuller. Mr. Fuller was predeceased by two sisters, Virgie Ferguson and Callie Mae Porter and one brother, Rufus Fuller. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms, with the Rev. Curtis Faison officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the home of Charles and Judy Fuller, 26124 Blackhead Signpost Road. Memorials may be made to Newsoms Baptist Church, P.O. Box 312, Newsoms, VA 23874.
